To err is human — to hide errors is a betrayal of journalism. That's why at Aishunos every mistake is corrected openly and quickly.

Minor errors

Typos, grammar slips, and immaterial inaccuracies are fixed and noted in the story with a "Correction" label. An error is never silently rewritten. Readers should be able to see that a previous version contained an error and when it was fixed.

Serious errors

If an error is serious enough to change the substance of a story — for example, the wrong company, wrong figure, or wrong quote — it is announced separately and readers are owed an apology.

Reporting an error

If you spot an error in our stories, please tell us — it helps us; it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Ways to report errors are listed on the "Contact" page. Every report is reviewed, and if substantiated, a correction is made.

Corrections archive

All corrections remain marked in their stories — they are never deleted or hidden from history. We consider openly showing our mistakes part of trust: readers should see where we went wrong and how we fixed it.
