This policy applies to every story published by Aishunos. We publish it openly because readers have a right to know what their trust in us is based on.

Fact-checking and sources

Every fact rests on a source. For breaking news, at least two independent sources are required before publication. Official statements — a company blog, press release, or spokesperson comment — are labeled separately and never relayed without critical context. We rely on anonymous sources only in exceptional cases, when the public interest demands it, and we tell readers so openly.

Headline standard

Headlines are factual: they accurately reflect the story's substance, make no excessive promises, and don't mislead readers. Clickbait — sensational headlines that don't match the text — is strictly prohibited.

News, analysis, and opinion are separated

Every story is labeled with its type: News, Analysis, Opinion, or Sponsored. In analyses and opinion pieces, the author's conclusions are clearly separated from facts, so readers never confuse fact with interpretation.

Sponsored stories are always marked with a "Sponsored" label and are visually distinct from editorial content. Paid news coverage — taking money to cover a company or product positively — simply doesn't exist here.

Use of artificial intelligence

AI tools may be used as assistants in research and drafting, but every story passes human editorial review before publication. AI never publishes a final text on its own. Using artificial intelligence to fabricate quotes, invent facts, or create nonexistent sources is strictly prohibited.

Image policy

Every image carries a caption and credit. Stock or AI-generated images are never presented as depictions of real events; when an AI-generated image is used, this is disclosed separately.

Embargo policy

An embargo applies only when agreed in advance by both sides — the source and the newsroom. A unilaterally declared or unagreed embargo is not binding on us.
