Much is said about ChatGPT, but most entrepreneurs use it only for "Q&A." In reality it can become a time-saving assistant at dozens of points in daily business processes. Below — 10 real scenarios, each with a ready prompt example, all adapted to the context of small business in Uzbekistan.
Client work: letters and scripts
Answering a client complaint or request is daily repetitive work. Describe the situation to ChatGPT — it will prepare a draft in your tone.
Ready prompt:
A client ordered from our online store, but delivery was delayed by
3 days. They expressed dissatisfaction. Write them a short, sincere
but professional letter: apologize, explain the situation, and offer
a 10% discount on the next purchase. In Uzbek, no more than 120 words.
Important rule: never send a ready text without reading it. Check names, dates, numbers, and change 1–2 sentences to match your voice.
Client-work scenarios and scripts
Response scripts for typical situations for salespeople, cashiers, support staff.
Ready prompt:
Write a communication script for a clothing store salesperson covering
8 typical situations: price bargaining, missing size, return request,
discount request, etc. In each situation: client speaks → salesperson
reply (2–3 sentences) → final offer. In a friendly, confident tone.
These scripts can be used when training new employees — from day one they'll communicate correctly with clients.
Meeting minutes, reports, and analysis
Give ChatGPT your handwritten messy notes after a meeting — it will return a structured protocol and a clear task list.
Ready prompt:
Compose an official protocol from the following meeting notes:
- Each discussed issue as a separate item
- In each item: decision + responsible person + deadline
- At the end — a "Next steps" table
Notes: [paste your notes here]
This scenario saves at least 1–2 hours a week — especially for managers with teams larger than 5 people.
Reports and analytical summaries
Upload monthly sales data (without personal data!) — ChatGPT will find trends and draw conclusions.
Ready prompt:
Analyze the following 6-month sales data: [data].
1) Calculate growth/decline percentage for each month
2) Identify the 2 strongest and 2 weakest months and write a guess about the cause
3) Give 3 practical recommendations for the next quarter
Write the answer as a 1-page report for a manager.
Security reminder: never upload client personal data to AI — full names, phone numbers, passport data: anonymize them first.
Commercial proposals, HR, and legal documents
Writing a separate proposal for each client takes a lot of time. Give ChatGPT the client profile — it will prepare a structured proposal skeleton.
Ready prompt:
Compose a commercial proposal of SMM services for a medium-sized
restaurant chain in Tashkent (5 branches). Structure: 1) Client's
problem, 2) Our solution, 3) 3-month work plan, 4) Price packages
(3 options), 5) Next step. In a convincing but non-pushy tone, in Uzbek.
Enter prices and exact numbers yourself — the model may "invent" them, which creates an awkward situation before the client.
Job ads and HR documents
A job posting, job description, candidate question list — all can be prepared in minutes.
Ready prompt:
Write a job ad for a "sales manager" vacancy at a logistics company
in Tashkent. Structure: 2 sentences about the company, requirements
(5–7 items), offered conditions, application procedure. In Uzbek, in an
official but attractive tone. At the end, in a separate section, give a
list of 10 interview questions for the candidate.
Contract and document drafts
ChatGPT will prepare a draft of a simple contract, act, or internal order — then definitely run it through a lawyer.
Ready prompt:
Compose a draft service contract for working with a freelance designer
(in the context of Uzbekistan legislation). Sections: parties, scope
of work, deadlines, payment procedure, confidentiality, dispute
resolution. In each section mark places to fill in [IN SQUARE BRACKETS].
"A document prepared by AI is a draft, not a final document. Especially in contracts and financial documents every clause must be checked by a specialist. AI saves time, but doesn't take responsibility."
Content plan and competitor analysis
Running an Instagram or Telegram channel regularly is one of small business's biggest headaches. ChatGPT will compose a month-long plan.
Ready prompt:
Compose a 1-month content plan for the Instagram page of a children's
clothing store in Tashkent. 3 posts + 5 stories per week. For each post:
topic, text draft (up to 80 words), photo/video idea. Audience: mothers
aged 25–35. In a selling but non-aggressive tone.
Once you have the plan, edit each post's text to your brand — the AI text needs a human hand so it doesn't remain a "template."
Quick competitor analysis
Before launching a new product or service, ChatGPT will prepare an analytical "framework" for market study.
Ready prompt:
Compose a competitive analysis table for the online education platforms
market in Uzbekistan. Columns: platform name, target audience, pricing
policy, strengths, weaknesses. Give an empty template for rows where
I'll put 5 competitors I know, and with a short instruction explain how
to fill each column.
Note: this prompt asks the model not to "know" facts but for analysis structure. You'll fill in exact competitor data yourself — this eliminates hallucination risk.
Turning AI into a system: digest and weekly habit
To turn scenarios into a system rather than a one-time experiment, set aside 30 minutes every Friday:
1–10 minutes — review results. What did you do with AI this week? Which prompt worked well, which didn't? Save the good ones to a "prompt library" folder.
10–20 minutes — next week's plan. List next week's repetitive work: reports, posts, letters. Write a ready prompt for each in advance — on Monday you just insert data and send.
20–30 minutes — testing one new scenario. Pick one of the 10 above not yet tried and test at small scale. For example, if you haven't set up the automatic digest yet — set it up in these 10 minutes.
After a month these 30 minutes will turn into several hours of weekly savings for you. Most importantly — AI use will move from "when I remember" mode to "systematic" mode.
Automatic daily digest
ChatGPT's scheduled tasks feature sends you a ready briefing every morning — market news, currency rates, day-plan reminder.
Ready prompt (configured once):
Every working day at 8:00 send me:
1) 3 important news items from the last 24 hours relevant to small business in Uzbekistan
2) Dollar and euro exchange rates to the sum
3) Reminder from the task list I set yesterday
In short bullet-list form.
This feature is currently available in ChatGPT's paid plans. Setup is done once, then it runs automatically every day.
Practical conclusion
Do today: (1) From the scenarios above pick the one taking most of your time. (2) Copy the relevant prompt and adapt it to your business. (3) Test the result and save the prompt — next time it'll be ready in 5 minutes. If within a month you move to regularly applying 3–4 scenarios, per most practitioners' experience you can save several hours a week. The main rule doesn't change: AI prepares the draft, the final decision and responsibility stay with you.
Security and etiquette
When using ChatGPT in business, don't forget three red lines.
1. Confidential data. Client personal data (full names, phones, passports), employee salaries, trade secrets in contracts — don't enter these into an open AI service. If needed for analysis, anonymize first: replace names with "Client A, Client B."
2. Fact-checking. AI can cite law articles, tax rates, official requirements incorrectly. In legal and financial matters always compare the AI answer with an official source (lex.uz, soliq.uz) or a specialist.
3. Transparency. If an important client document was prepared with AI help, read it fully yourself and guarantee its content. "AI wrote it" can't be an excuse for an error.
These rules aren't for scaring — they're the foundation of confident AI use. Explain the rules to the team once, and no problems will arise later.
